Check your voter status in your state! Make sure you are registered as "Active.

Every state has a website where you can check your voter status to ensure you are listed as "Active." You can check your status or that of a relative or anyone else. It is a public record.

Here is the link to check your voter status in North Carolina: Voter Search (ncsbe.gov)

Type in Your Name and Year of Birth. Under county, leave it as “All”. You don’t have to select just your county. Then, just click search.

Your name will appear with your status listed as “Active” or “Inactive”. You can also click on your name and it will show when you last registered and your registration information.

If you are “Inactive,” contact your local Board of Elections on how to change your status to “Active.” During Early Voting, you can also register and re-register to vote (if you are “Inactive”).

The Robeson County Cooperative for Sustainable Development (RCCSD) is committed to preserving the essence of rural life in Robeson County and Southeastern North Carolina. Our mission is to champion innovative and responsible solutions that elevate the lives of our residents and enhance the environments in which they live. RCCSD operates through two primary avenues: by fostering an inclusive, community-driven, and multiracial base of influence across Robeson, Scotland, Hoke, and Richmond Counties and by promoting environmental, energy, climate, and disaster justice alongside sustainable development initiatives. Despite facing significant economic challenges, Robeson County is uniquely positioned as the most racially diverse rural county in the United States. Its demographic composition includes 39% Indigenous, 26% White, 24% Black, 8% Latinx, 1% Asian, and 1% identifying as multiracial. Our organization supports a variety of educational, organizational, advocacy, systemic change, and community development programs.

Key projects include

1. Robeson County Disaster Survival and Resiliency School: Empowering communities with the knowledge and tools to withstand and recover from disasters.

2. Environmental, Energy, and Climate Justice Organizing Project: Advocating for equitable solutions to pressing environmental and energy challenges.

3. Longleaf Pine Regional Resiliency Hub: Providing a centralized resource for resilience planning and support across Robeson, Scotland, Hoke, and Richmond Counties. Join us as we work towards a more sustainable, inclusive, and thriving future for Robeson County and its neighboring regions.
